Arrests have been made after a two-year-old boy was found wandering a Linwood street alone in only a nappy.
It’s thought the toddler wondered from his home in Machrie Crescent on Sunday morning.
Members of the public alerted the Police to the situation who arrived quickly and took the child to safety and traced his parents.
Officers have since made two arrests, a 34-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man for child neglect and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
