Singers and musicians are being given the chance to perform in front of hundreds of people at a major event this summer.

Auditions are being held for artists to play at the two-day festival of music at the intu Braehead shopping centre and the nearby Soar at intu Braehead leisure destination.

The event, Everyone’s Invited is taking place on Saturday, 27th June and Sunday, 28th June featuring a host of top-line acts and also the best of local talent.

Artistes who would like to take part are being asked to send a YouTube, SoundCloud, Twitter, or Facebook link to any recordings, or videos of themselves performing to soar.info@intu.co.uk .

The deadline to send these links is Sunday, June 7 and acts will then be chosen to perform at a live audition.

Singers and musicians will also be given the opportunity to perform throughout the year on two new music stages that have been created at both the shopping mall and Soar at intu Braehead
Marketing manager for intu Braehead, Lydia Brown said: “Britain’s Got Talent may have just finished on the TV, but we’re carrying on trying to find the best talent Renfrewshire/Glasgow (delete as appropriate) has to offer.

“This will be a fantastic opportunity for singers and musicians from all different genres of music to showcase their talent in front of hundreds of people during Everyone’s Invited.

“The only stipulation is that performing dogs need not apply. Britain’s Got Talent seems to have cornered that market with Matisse, the dancing dog winning at the weekend!”
