Two golf buggies, worth around £4,000 each have been stolen from Kilmacolm Golf Club.
The golf buggies are dark green in colour with a cream roof and are valued at £4,000 each, A photo of one of the stolen buggies is shown below.
The theft happened between 9pm on Tuesday 8th September and 7am on Wednesday 9th September 2015.
Local officers are currently carrying out enquiries in relation to the thefts, which would require some form of vehicle or trailer to remove the vehicles from the golf club.
Inspector Steven Espie from Johnstone Community Police said,”The stolen golf buggies were removed overnight from the Kilmacolm Golf Club where they had been parked whilst charging.
“This is the second theft of golf buggies in the local area in recent days, with two further buggies stolen from Renfrew Golf Club overnight from Monday 7th into Tuesday 8th September 2015.
“If anyone has any information relation to either of these thefts or observed any persons or vehicles in or around Kilmacolm Golf Club from Tuesday 8th into Wednesday 9th September 2015, please contact either Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or Police Scotland on 101.”
