Join in on the fun in the centre of Johnstone for an afternoon of festive family fun before the town’s Christmas lights are switched on.

Starting from noon, live entertainment and performances will take place on the main stage, hosted by Pulse FM, until 5pm on Saturday 21st November 2015.

Kids can enjoy Christmas stories, circus workshops, balloon modelling, face painting and a puppet show in the marquee.

There will also be stilt walkers, street performers and a funfair.

Renfrewshire’s Provost Anne Hall and competition winner Elsie Balfour will switch on the Christmas lights at 4.30pm.

Kids can pop in to see Santa in his grotto in Johnstone Town Hall, also the St Vincent’s Christmas Fayre will be held inside the town hall too.

Roads around Houstoun Square will be closed all day.
