Facebay Fundraising founder Irene McDonald presents Alison of the SSPCA Cardonald cat and dog home with £700, dog food and blankets which was raised by the members of the group by buying items over the past two months.
How Facebay Fundraising works: If someone has something they plan to throw away, but the item still works and has some value left in it, FaceBay Fundraising will collect and sell the item.
The money collected is donated to charity and the person who donated it can select which charity receives the cash.
