Budget shoe firm Brantano Footwear has went into administration putting 10 local jobs at risk.
The company had recently opened a new store in the Phoenix Retail Park in Linwood.
Brantano was only bought over by investment firm, Alteri Investors four months ago.
Across the UK the company employs over 2,000 people.
