St Vincent’s Hospice has been giving a donation of £1500 by the Spar Store in Lochwinnoch from carrier bag sales.

The charity was nominated by the store’s staff members to receive the donation.

David Cunningham, Area Manager for Spar Scotland said, “The staff of our Lochwinnoch store had nominated St Vincent’s Hospice because of work of the Hospice in the local area. They are delighted to be able to help to give something back.”

Carol-Anne Lamont, who collected the cheque on behalf of the hospice said, “We are hugely grateful to everyone involved for the donation and would like to thank staff and customers of the store for thinking of St Vincent’s Hospice. These funds will be used to support our work both at the hospice and in the community.”
