Police are investigating the assault of a man in Paisley in early hours of Sunday morning.
Around 1.10am on Sunday 5th June, a 56-year-old man was assaulted by three men and a woman in Silk Street near to Gauze Street.
The suspects then made off and man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where he was treated for injuries to his face and head before being released.
The suspects are described as:
- white male, slim build, shaved head, wearing a white t-shirt with black markings, dark trousers and white footwear
- white male, slim build, short dark hair, wearing a grey shirt and dark trousers
- white female, slim build, shoulder length blonde hair, wearing a black dress
- white male, heavy build, shaved hair, wearing a black jacket and black trousers
Detective Constable Laura Durnie at Paisley CID said: “We know that there were a number of people in the area who would have witnessed this incident and it is vital that we speak to them in order to establish the exact circumstances.
“Anyone who was in the vicinity of Silk Street and Gauze Street – both pedestrians and those in cars and witnessed a disturbance around 0110 hrs on Sunday 5 June is asked to contact Paisley CID via telephone number 101.”
