Police are appealing for any persons travelling on the B775 near to Lapwing Lodge this morning (Tue 14th June) between 8am and 9 am who may have witnessed a road accident involving a motorcyclist and a deer.
A passing motorist described the motorcycle as being lime green in colour and positioned on the grass verge.
Police have so far been unable to trace any motorcycle or the rider despite a thorough search of the area.
Inspector Rasdale of Paisley Police Office stated: “We are eager to trace the rider of the motorcycle to ensure his safety and wellbeing, we are appealing for any motorist who may have witnessed the incident or observed the motorcycle at the scene to get in touch on 101. The road was closed for a short period of time but has now re-opened”.
