Veterans’ charity Erskine is delighted to announce The Highland Club – a multiple award winning development of The Santon Group – as the official Headline Event Sponsor of the Erskine Centenary Ball.
After taking the reins in 2015, The Highland Club will be returning as main sponsor to aid Erskine in celebrating 100 years of caring for the ex-service community.
Based in the opulent surroundings of Fort Augustus, the luxurious holiday and residential resort have once again shown their invaluable support for our country’s veterans by supporting the exclusive event.
The Erskine Centenary Ball, taking place at Mar Hall Hotel on Friday 7th October, will mark 100 years since the first admission of serving personnel to Erskine, originally known as The Princess Louise Hospital for Limbless Sailors and Soldiers, and will see the veterans’ charity welcome 350 guests to the very building where it all began in 1916.
The black-tie event will include a whole host of entertainment including World War One re-enactments, as well as comedy and performances from Scottish favourites Fred MacAulay and Edward Reid and more.
Marketing and Head of Philanthropy for The Highland Club, Pardeep Sandhu, said: “The Highland Club are proud to be the Headline Event Sponsor of such a special event for Erskine. We are looking forward to a wonderful evening at The Erskine Centenary Ball as they mark 100 years of caring for our country’s ex-service community. The work carried out by the care and support staff at Erskine is exceptional and we are extremely happy and privileged to be associated with this magnificent charity.”
Developed over a number of years, The Highland Club occupies the Grade A gothic buildings of the original 1729 English fortification, Fort Augustus – the Abbey Church conversion was finally completed in 2012. The Highland Club is a unique and heavenly place to stay on holiday in one of the magnificent luxury residences with limitless opportunities for leisurely pursuits and relaxation.
Erskine Corporate and Event Fundraising Manager Kirsten Graham said: “We are extremely delighted to have the generous sponsorship of The Highland Club once again and are immensely grateful for their on-going support and commitment to the charity and the veterans, particularly throughout this centenary year. The team are fantastic and always a pleasure to work with. We look forward to welcoming them to The Erskine Centenary Ball 2016.”
Alternate sponsorship opportunities are still available for The Erskine Centenary Ball.
