The classic Top Gun movie starring Tom Cruise as a daring fighter pilot is making a flying visit to the big screen tomorrow. (Sunday 4th September 2016).
And anyone who turns up at ODEON Braehead dressed as Maverick for this special screening to celebrate the classic movie’s 30th anniversary will receive a free large popcorn.
Top Gun takes off at ODEON Braehead at 6pm and cinema bosses are expecting quite a few lookalikes to turn up.
To win the free popcorn all you have to be wearing is a pair of aviator-style sunglasses and either a leather bomber jacket, or a pilot’s jumpsuit – just like the heart-throb character Maverick did in the movie.
There’s also the chance to take a wingman – or wingwoman – with you to the see the movie for free, as the cinema in Soar at intu Braehead has launched a two-for-one ticket offer.
Paul Hills, General Manager at ODEON Braehead, said: “We can’t wait for Goose and Maverick to fly on to the big screen again to mark 30 years of one of the most iconic films of all time.“
Marketing manager at intu Braehead, Christine Macdonald added: “It’s going to be great to see all the would-be Mavericks land at the ODEON for the Top Gun movie.
“All you need to do to get a free large popcorn is to look out the cool aviator shades and don a leather bomber jacket, or jumpsuit.
“And you don’t even need to arrive in a fighter jet either – coming along in a car, taxi or bus is fine!”
