Irish Airline Ryanair have launched its biggest Glasgow summer schedule for 2017, including four new routes from Glasgow Airport.
The new routes include Lisbon, Palanga (Lithuania), Valencia and Zadar (Croatia) which will grow their Glasgow traffic by 18% in 2017.
Ryanair’s Glasgow summer schedule will see more frequencies to sun destinations for summer family holidays, and promise lower fares as Ryanair with falling fuel costs.
The changes include:
- 4 new routes to Lisbon (2 weekly), Palanga (2 weekly), Valencia (2 weekly) & Zadar (2 weekly)
- 6 new summer routes to Alicante (3 weekly), Brussels (2 wkly), Gran Canaria (1 weekly),
- Lanzarote (2 weekly), Malaga (4 weekly) & Sofia (2 weekly)
- More frequency to Berlin (6 weekly)
In Glasgow, Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary said: “We are pleased to launch our biggest ever Glasgow Summer 2017 schedule, which includes 4 new routes from Glasgow International to Lisbon, Palanga, Valencia and Zadar, and a new route from Glasgow Prestwick to Barcelona G, which will deliver 2 million customers p.a. and support 1,500 jobs at Glasgow and Prestwick airports.
