Two Johnstone Councillors have had a walkabout with Police in Johnstone.
Labour Councillors John Hood and Iain McMillian joined Inspector Cassie Glass and Sergeant Phil Moir from Johnstone Police Station on Thursday 20th October 2016 around Johnstone Castle, Spateston and Coresford.
The communities involved in the walk about are experiencing issues with Anti-Social Behaviour, drug dealing and theft of various items from vacant properties.
The local Councillors also discussed the ongoing work in relation to upgrading the whole of Renfrewshire street lighting system to LED and the advantages this would bring to both the Police and members of the Public.
Both Councillors also highlighted the ongoing issues with speeding motorist and the challenges and dangers this presents to the community.
