Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stuck by a car in Bishopton and the driver failed to stop.
The man was struck around 9.45pm on Saturday 3rd December as he crossed Greenock Road near to Kingston Road, Bishopton.
The car has been described as a grey or silver Audi A1.
The driver has not yet come forward to Police. The victim sustained serious injuries and Police believe that someone will know who the driver was and they are appealing for witnesses to get in touch.
Insp Gillian Gardner of Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Road Policing Unit said: “This was a serious road crash and for the driver to show such disregard not to stop, whilst a young man was left lying on the roadway as a result with serious injuries, is despicable. If you have any information regarding this incident, if you know who was in that vehicle then I urge you to contact Road Policing Department at Greenock on 101.”
