Police are warning home owners of the dangers of leaving car keys in view of letterboxes and windows after a brand new car was stolen in Renfrew.
A set of keys were snatched after they were left on a table near to the front door of a property in Esk Avenue, Renfrew.
The theft happened between 10.30pm on Wednesday 30th August 2017 and 5.30pm on Thursday 31st August 2017. The car stolen was brand new Silver BMW Series X Drive GT.
Police Scotland said: “If anyone has any knowledge of this crime please call the Police at Johnstone via 101 or report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
