Renfrewshire Council are to spend nearly £1 million on six new bin lorries.The council will receive two different trucks, four Volvo FE 6×2 including Farid RCV bodywith a Terberg bin lifter, costing £625,000 and two, Volvo FE 6×2 including Faun RotOpress.
It’s expected that delivery of the 26-tonne trucks will be in March next year.
The new £944,200 Volvo trucks will be withdrawn from the Council’s Community Resource’s capital budget.
