Former workers of Clarks & Coats Mill are being asked to contact the mill museum to speak to their historian about their time at the mill.

The appeal was made by Paisley Thread Mill Museum on Facebook and Twitter.

The museum, said: “We are still looking for more Paisley & Renfrewshire Thread Workers who worked in the Clarks & Coats Mills.

“Our Oral Historian is talking to as many former workers as she can between now and mid-march. We want to hear good and bad stories about working in the mills, no matter how insignificant you think your information is – we can guarantee that it will be useful to us.”

You can contact the museum on 0141 847 1111, and leave a message or by email at info@afamilyofthreads.info. For more information visit: www.afamilyofthreads.info.
