A Giffnock health club will be hosting a Curry and Comedy night this month.
The event, the first to be held by the club, will feature Edinburgh Fringe performer Ray Bradshaw and Mark Nelson, who are regulars at The Stand Comedy Club, Glasgow and Chris Forbes from BBC TV show, Scot Squad.
Chefs will be serving up homemade curries, rice and sides at 6pm with a full night of entertainment beginning from 8.30pm.
After the show, the bar will be licensed until 1am.
Ray Bradshaw is one of the brightest and most exciting acts on the UK Comedy circuit at the moment. He has performed sell-out solo festival shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Adelaide Fringe and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Bradshaw was recently on tour as support for Ardal O’Hanlon and Frankie Boyle.
Mark Nelson has performed six hugely successful seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe with his own show. With a likable manner on stage, Nelson often has audiences laughing at things they know they really shouldn’t be laughing at.
Chris Forbes, Star of BBC’s Scot Squad is an award-winning comedian.
Forbes is one of the most in-demand comics in Scotland. As well as being a regular on the UK comedy circuit, Forbes has gigged all over the world and supported Kevin Bridges on tour.
The show will be held in the Brasserie at Nuffield Health, Giffnock on Saturday, 30th June 2018.
A ticket for the full night, Curry & Comedy costs £19.50 per person. For Comedy only tickets, the cost per person will be £14.50.
Tickets can be purchased directly from the club at: Nuffield Health, 82 Braidholm Road, Giffnock, G46 6ED or by contacting Brogan Sangan by e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
