Paisley award winning singer-songwriter Lisa Kowalski has won a place at a London busking competition.
Gigs10, in association with Gibson, is the Mayor of London’s annual busking competition and has been showcasing young musical talent since 2009.
Prizes include Gibson guitars, recording sessions at a London studio, a trip to Europe and many other career development opportunities.
Lisa said she would be grateful for votes from her local supporters as she competes in the over 18 category with performers from all over the UK.
She said: “I will be singing my heart out in London and continuing to raise awareness of music from Paisley.
“Although we didn’t quite win UK City of Culture last year, I’m still doing my bit to draw attention to the town and to the wider Scottish grass roots music scene”.

Voting begins tomorrow, Saturday 21st July. You can vote once each day throughout the competition.
The winners are decided by a judging panel but there is also a wild card act who makes it to the final based on the votes of the public.
After the competition Lisa will be returning to Paisley to start recording her second EP and independently release her next single.
