Police Scotland have carried out vehicle speed checks in Renfrew and Erskine.
The spot checks took place on motor vehicles in Kings Inch Road and Glasgow Road, Renfrew and Newshot Drive, Erskine on Friday.
Five motorists were issued with Fixed Penalty Tickets and one motorist reported to the Procurator Fiscal for speeding on Kings Inch Road, Renfrew.
On Glasgow Road, Renfrew, two motorists were issued with Fixed Penalty Tickets for speeding.
Finally, two motorists were issued with Fixed Penalty Tickets for speeding on Newshot Drive, Erskine.
Police Scotland said that these checks will continue over the winter months to keep road users safe.
