Police have launched an investigation after a 16-year-old teenager was stabbed in Johnstone.
The stabbing happened in Highcraig Avenue on Wednesday at around 9pm.
Detectives are now appealing for information on a serious assault with no current leads on the attacker.
The teenager was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital but has since been released.
There is no description of an attacker or attackers and officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident to contact them as they could provide information which could assist their investigation.
Officers have been checking CCTV images from the area for any information regarding the incident.
Police Scotland, said: “Anyone with any information is asked to call CID officers at Paisley Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 3758 of Wednesday 30 January 2019.
