Police officers and Council Wardens have been targeting drivers parking outside a school in Houston.

Houston Community Officer PC Dick and colleagues were out and about at Houston Primary School this morning along with Renfrewshire Council Wardens to educate drivers on the dangers of inconsiderate parking on the school run.

Parking on corners and pavements can restrict views and force pedestrians on to the road.

A Police Scotland spokesperson, said: “Parking on Zig Zags, corners and pavements is dangerous – it can restrict views when crossing and force pedestrians on to the roadway.

“Keep our children safe going to school.”
