Police are appealing for witnesses to an alleged serious assault which occurred in Tuesday evening.
An altercation took place between four males near to the Cenotaph in Paisley Town Centre resulting in a 31-year-old male receiving a serious hand wound.
The disturbance, which began at at 10.45pm on Tuesday 23rd July 2019, continued into the Last Post pub in County Square where another male was assaulted resulting in a minor head wound. Two men have been arrested and will be held custody before appearing at Paisley Sheriff court.
