If you want to find out how Scottish Opera returned to form, come and hear from its General Director, Alex Reedijk who will be speaking to members of Renfrewshire’s Paisley & District U3A members in Paisley.

Alex will be giving members an insight into the national company’s transformation on Thursday 5th December at 2pm.

U3A chair, Kathleen O’Donnell remarked: “This presentation promises to give us a unique glimpse into Scottish Opera – one of Scotland’s musical treasures. I’m sure Alex Reedijk has some fascinating behind the scenes facts to share with us. We hope semi-retired or fully retired people will attend this interesting event, which is completely free.”

Celebrating 13 years this year with Scottish Opera, General Director Alex Reedijk, said: “It’s important for us to reach out to alcommunities. Last season we performed in 48 communities, and this season 53. I want Scottish Opera to feel like a festival all year round.”
