A teenager has been threatened with knife in Renfrew on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place at around 5.20pm and 5.45pm on the footpath on Broadloan as the victim walked in the direction of Sandy Road.
The victim, a 16-year-old white male, of slim build, 5ft 10 in height with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey coloured long sleeved top. He was approached by a white male, of slim build, about 5ft8 in height with short dark hair. He was wearing a grey waterproof jacket, grey jogging bottoms and grey trainers with a purple stripe.
This male is reported to have assaulted the victim by trying to strike him with a knife. The teenager suffered no injuries and was able to make off before the police were called.
Police Scotland, said: “If you were in the area and saw the incident, were driving past and have dashcam footage or have any other information regarding the incident we would ask that you make contact with PC John Casey at Renfrew Police Station quoting incident number 3154 of 10/03/2020.”
