Schools in Renfrewshire will close next week after a new last-minute pay deal was rejected by a union.
Unison confirmed they have rejected the deal, and their members will strike on 26, 27 and 28 September.
GMB and Unite unions are still considering the offer.
The strikes will involve catering, cleaning, pupil support, administration and janitorial staff.
This morning the Scottish government freed up £80m so COSLA could offer a new improved deal, which would have included a rise of about £2,000 a year for the lowest paid.
The last pay offer of a £1,929 a year was rejected by all three unions.
In Renfrewshire, all schools will be closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, however a number of nurseries will remain open.
The nurseries remaining open are Dargavel ELCC, Douglas Street ELCC, Ferguslie ELCC, Glenburn ELCC, Glendee ELCC, Hillview ELCC, Hugh Smiley ELCC, Kirklandneuk ELCC, Lochfield ELCC, Paisley ELCC, Spateston ELCC and West Johnstone ELCC.
Private nurseries and childminders are not affected by the strike and all schools and nurseries will be open as normal on Friday 29th September.
