Police Scotland were called out to the Glenburn area of Paisley after reports of loud banging sounds heard at various times of the day.

Officers have carried out enquiries and at this time haven’t “completely confirmed” the source of the noises, it is believed to be a pest scaring device.
The force confirms there is nothing to suggest any criminality.
Police Scotland said: “If you are using a bird scarer or similar device in the area we’d be grateful if you could call 101, quoting reference 1597 of 14th November.”
