Operations Director for Paisley based JR Scaffold Services, Kellyanne Conway has won the coveted National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) President’s Award following stiff competition from around the UK for the highly acclaimed title.

Accepting her prize at the grand awards dinner in London on 17th November, Kellyanne was nominated by Managing Director of JR Scaffold, John Horne who has worked with Kellyanne for more than 20 years and was inspired by her unwavering work ethic and the impressive contribution she brings to the team.

The NASC President’s Award is open to all of its 500 members and is designed to highlight and showcase those who have gone above and beyond and who are deserving of special recognition from the NASC. This year there was a specific focus on unsung heroes that help drive businesses forward.

John Horne, Managing Director of JR Scaffold who nominated Kellyanne for the award, and attended the awards to watch her pick up her prize, said: “As a team, we are absolutely thrilled Kellyanne has been awarded the NASC President’s Award, there is no-one more deserving of the recognition. When I heard that the NASC were on the lookout for unsung heroes within the industry that really drive businesses forward, I knew we had to shine a light on Kellyanne and all that she has done, and continues to do for us at JR Scaffold.

“Kellyanne has kept our business grounded in our roots and focused on helping to support the communities around us, which has always been at the core of our business since we launched in Govan 28 years ago.

“Kellyanne’s commitment, loyalty, tenacity, and drive has helped build JR Scaffold to be the successful business it is today. She has been an integral part of its growth and helped push forward its reputation as a brand that cares.

“JR Scaffold just wouldn’t be the same without Kellyanne and the contribution she brings each and every day. It is fantastic that the judges were able to recognise her efforts and award her as the winner.”

Kellyanne  added: “I am delighted to have won the NASC President’s Award, it really is an honour. I would like to extend a huge congratulations to the others shortlisted, as I am sure the judges must have had a hard time deciding between the four finalists to reach a winner, and I was humbled to be included within such a strong group of deserving contenders.

“Coming into work is a true joy because of the fantastic team of people we have here and the strong ethos of community and giving back. The difference we have managed to make is incredible. I would like to thank my team for the nomination – I am very grateful for the acknowledgement and continued support.”
