A man is accused of a serious assault on a woman at a Celtic bar.
Richard McKenna, 56, allegedly attacked Catherine MacKay at The Tall Cranes in Glasgow’s Govan on 12th December, 2021.
Court papers state McKenna, of Paisley, punched her on the head.
It is claimed he went on to strike her on the head with a glass or similar object to her severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
McKenna faces a separate charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at the same time and place.
The allegations state McKenna shouted and swore.
McKenna denies the two charges and will stand trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court in January next year.
