Emergency services have attended a blaze at a bar and restaurant in Erskine.

Six fire appliances attended a well-developed fire within the Grill in the Park restaurant on Mains Hill shorty after 8am this morning.

One appliance remains on the scene with crews working to ensure the area is made safe.

It has been confirmed there were no casualties.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.03am on Wednesday, 29 November to reports of a building fire in Erskine.

“Operations Control mobilised six fire appliances to the town’s Park Drive, where firefighters were met by a well-developed fire within a commercial premises.

“The fire has now been exinguished and one appliance remains on scene with crews working to ensure the area is made safe.

“There are no reported casualties.”
