Pupils at Dargavel Primary School are set to enjoy new school play equipment thanks to the support of Stewart Milne Homes.
The five-star homebuilder has generously donated £1000 to the school to support the purchase of outdoor play equipment and a sandpit to provide students with a fun outdoor space.
The donation was inspired by primary one pupils who wrote to the local Stewart Milne Homes sales office, based in the new Dargavel Village development, asking for support to renovate the school garden.
Impressed by the pupil’s proactiveness and touched by their handwritten letter, Stewart Milne Homes was more than happy to support the school. The cheque was presented by sales representatives from Stewart Milne Homes Dargavel Village, at a school assembly on Friday 24th November.
Mr. Carlton, Head Teacher at Dargavel Primary School, expressed his gratitude for the donation. He said: “We are thrilled to receive this generous donation from Stewart Milne Homes. The new equipment will be a fantastic addition to our outdoor space that I’m sure will be much-loved by pupils at break and lunch times.”
