Police Scotland are appealing for information after a man was assaulted and robbed in Paisley.

A 26-year-old man was walking on Barrhead Road near to the junction with Ladykirk Terrace when he was approached by three men who assaulted and robbed him.

He did not require hospital treatment.

The robbery happened at around 1.25am on Sunday, 17th December, 2023.

The men are described as wearing face coverings and hooded jumpers.

Detective Sergeant Richard Grant said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident to contact us.

“I am also appealing for anyone who was driving in the area around the time and who may have any dash cam footage which could assist us to get in touch.”
