Police Scotland are appealing for the assistance of the public in tracing 59-year old Anthony McDonald, who is missing from Paisley.

Anthony was last seen at 10.45pm on Monday at Buchanan bus station. He is believed to have travelled by bus to the Birmingham area.

He is described as white, 5ft 7ins in height and of medium build and bald. When he was last seen he was wearing a black jacket, blue trousers and a green NICCE hooded top. He was carrying a green rucksack.

Sergeant Rachel Buchanan of Paisley Police Station said: “Enquiries are continuing to locate Anthony and we are concerned for his wellbeing. We believe he travelled to the Birmingham area on Monday evening and we are liaising with our police colleagues there to trace him as soon as possible to ensure he is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone who has seen him since Monday, 29 January, or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact 101 with reference 2066 of 30 January.”
