Birkmyre get back to league duty this Saturday with a home fixture against Shawlands. The Kilmacolm side find themself in 3rd spot in the table as they enter the business end of the season.
Due to previous fixture postponements, the club have a number of games in hand over their closest rivals and have the added benefit of a run of home fixtures.
Club Captain, Ross Moglia, commented “finishing top of the league is still within our control however we need to win all our remaining matches to do so. Irvine can finish on a maximum 67 point. If we win all our matches with bonus points, we would get to 71. That is easier said than done however, with 4 of our 6 remaining matches at home, we have to be positive and confident we can achieve the required results”
