The incident involving a red Volkswagen Golf, a red Vauxhall Astra and an elderly male on a mobility scooter, happened around 8pm yesterday on Gauze Street at the junction with Silk Street, Paisley.

“Our enquiries are ongoing, and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have witnessed the crash or who may have information which could assist us to get in touch.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have dash-cam footage which could assist us.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 3252 of 1 April, 2024.”
