The University of the West of Scotland, (UWS) Business Innovation team will host its first-ever #BringTheBuzz Doors Open Day on Wednesday 17th April.

This free event, taking place in the University’s Paisley Campus from 9.30am-12pm, welcomes the public and local businesses to explore the extensive support available for businesses: from sole traders to multinationals, start-ups to centuries’ old employers.

The Open Day also offers a platform to connect with organisations such as Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce, Supplier Development Network, the Federation of Small Businesses, and Skills Development Scotland, all sharing their knowledge and expertise.

This event is a one-stop shop for businesses seeking to move forward, with representatives from UWS showcasing a range of resources specifically designed to empower business growth.

Attendees will see UWS’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit. Explore informative short courses, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships that bridge the gap between academia and industry, industry-relevant Graduate Apprenticeship programs, engaging Student Engagement initiatives, and dedicated employer liaison services, provided by the UWS Careers Service.

Don’t miss a captivating session on “The Now, the Next, and the Future” of the Scottish enterprise ecosystem. This thought-provoking discussion features Dr. Andy Campbell, founder of the Scottish Space Network and Chair of Young Enterprise Scotland, alongside Fraser Maitland, Business Development Manager at UWS.
