The Met Office has issued two yellow weather warnings for rain in Renfrewshire this week.

The warning began at 1am this morning and ends at 6pm tonight. Tomorrow a new warning begins at 9am and ends at 10pm.

The Met Office warns that the rainfall over the two days could cause some transport disruption, together with possible damage to homes and businesses.

A yellow warning is the lowest of a three-tier warning system.
