Johnstone Sound seeks performers for Christmas lights switch-on

Community radio station Johnstone Sound is calling on local talent to take part in this year’s Christmas lights switch-on event at Houston Square.

The festive celebration takes place on Saturday, 29th November 2025, and will once again feature live performances from the bandstand. The station is looking for volunteers willing to showcase their skills in front of the crowds.

Johnstone Sound will also be hosting a special roadshow on the day, with a number of performance slots available to entertain visitors throughout the event.

Anyone interested is encouraged to email office@johnstonesound.com to apply. The closing date for entries is Monday, 29th September.

Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
