Braehead to welcome global leisure attraction SuperPark

A new global indoor leisure attraction is set to make its UK debut in Renfrewshire.

SuperPark, an activity-based entertainment concept founded in Finland, has chosen Braehead Shopping Centre as the location for its first UK site. The 30,000 sq ft park will open early next year, offering families and visitors a major new leisure experience.

SuperPark already operates 26 venues worldwide, including in Finland, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, and attracts millions of visitors every year. Its decision to launch in Braehead marks a significant step in the company’s global expansion.

The new attraction will feature 40 different activities, from adventure challenges and sporting games to freestyle zones, with organisers promising an “immersive and joyful play experience” designed to appeal to all ages.

The investment represents the latest boost for Braehead, which has seen record-breaking visitor numbers over the past year. Footfall rose by 3% and spending by 4% in the year ending June 2025, outperforming regional retail benchmarks.

The news comes as Braehead continues its “Braehead Ambition” strategy, combining the shopping centre, Braehead Arena and Xsite into one major destination for retail, leisure and entertainment.
