A new Andys Man Club support group will open its doors in Johnstone tonight (Monday), offering men across the area a safe and welcoming space to talk.
The group will meet every Monday between 7pm and 9pm at 7 Quarry Street, and is open to any man aged 18 or over. No referrals or bookings are required – anyone who wishes to attend can simply turn up.
Andys Man Club is a men’s suicide prevention charity that runs more than 315 peer-to-peer talking groups across the UK, as well as online sessions. The charity’s mission is to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and support men through the power of conversation.
A spokesperson said: “We want to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation.”
