Two young volunteers have been recognised by Johnstone Burgh for their efforts in supporting the club, after being presented with national Saltire Awards for their contribution to the community.
Mackenzie Cameron received her Saltire Award from former Johnstone Burgh club secretary Robert Kerrigan for completing 25 hours of volunteering with Johnstone Burgh Community Club.
Joey Larkin was also presented with his Saltire Award by Burgh Treasurer Vic Young, recognising 50 hours of voluntary work with the club.
The Saltire Awards are a Scottish national recognition programme that celebrates and rewards young people aged 12 to 25 for their volunteering contributions. The scheme aims to encourage young people to volunteer, recognise their achievements, and help them build skills, confidence and experience for employment, college or university.
Awardees receive certificates signed by the Scottish Government, which can be added to CVs or portfolios.
