Police Scotland have issued a fresh appeal for information after a woman was seriously sexually assaulted in Paisley.

The incident happened around 4.30am on Sunday 16th November 2025 in the Brodie Park area.

The woman did not require hospital treatment but was left extremely frightened.

The suspect is described as white, in his early 20s, speaking with a local accent and wearing dark grey clothing.

Detective Inspector Nick Gribben said the investigation remains a priority and officers are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries in the area. He said many residents have already been approached for doorbell or CCTV footage, with detectives reviewing large amounts of material.
