A well-known Italian restaurant in Renfrew town centre has been placed on the market.
Luna Rossa, on the corner of Canal Street and Fubar Street, is being offered for sale after around three years under its current ownership. The business is a 46-cover restaurant with a fully fitted commercial kitchen, a premises licence and outdoor seating.
The property also includes a separate commercial space on the first floor, which is currently leased to an independent operator and provides an additional source of income.
While the venue is presently run as an Italian coffee house and restaurant, the internal layout and décor are described as suitable for a range of other food and drink uses.
The restaurant sits within a busy part of Renfrew town centre, close to other cafés, bars and restaurants, and benefits from both local footfall and passing trade. Paisley is around three miles away, with Glasgow approximately seven miles to the east.
The sale is being handled by specialist business property adviser Christie & Co. According to the firm, the business has built up a strong local profile, reflected in customer reviews online.
Owner Jason McMahon has decided to sell in order to focus on other business interests.
Tony Spence, Associate Director – Hospitality at Christie & Co, said: “We are delighted to be acting on behalf of our client to sell the current lease which will allow him to focus on another business venture. Our client has developed a great business that trades very well, however, there is huge scope to develop further. A viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate the opportunity available with this business.”
The leasehold business is on the market with an asking price of £50,000.
