Right Way Credit Union has appointed Emma Reid to its Board of Directors.
The community-based financial co-operative said Emma brings experience in marketing and education to the role.
She has worked across universities, consultancy and lecturing, and has a background in helping organisations communicate clearly and ethically.
Right Way Credit Union said her values align closely with its own, describing her as community-focused and people-centred, with a strong belief in helping people better understand their money and the alternatives available to them.
The credit union added that bringing Emma onto the board will support its aim of growing responsibly while keeping members at the centre of its work.
Credit unions are member-owned financial organisations. They offer savings accounts and loans as an alternative to high-cost lenders.
