Dobbies Braehead has launched its Easter events programme, with activities for families and dog owners throughout April.
The garden centre is hosting three themed events at its Braehead store, including two new dinosaur-inspired experiences and the return of its popular Easter Bunny Breakfast .
Dino-Paws is a brand-new event in support of Dogs Trust. It will take place on Saturday 4th April, Saturday 11th April and Sunday 12th April.
Well-behaved dogs can take part in a dinosaur-themed experience featuring a “Dino Dig Site”, where they can sniff and unearth hidden treats. Each dog will receive a dino-themed toy, a dog cookie to take home and a digital photo in front of a dinosaur backdrop .
There will also be a guided “sniff-ari” around the store. The activity is designed to let dogs explore at their own pace and build confidence. After the session, dogs and their owners can enjoy a puppuccino and a hot drink in the dog-friendly restaurant. The hot drink is free when customers buy a slice of cake or a breakfast roll .
Tickets for Dino-Paws cost £15 per dog. The experience includes a 10-minute dig activity followed by a 25-minute sniff-ari. Guests are invited to donate to Dogs Trust as part of the event .
Families can also book onto the new Dino-mite Party, a dinosaur-themed afternoon event for children aged three to 10. It runs from Thursday 9th April to Sunday 12th April and lasts around 90 minutes .
Children will take part in dinosaur games, create a dino egg terrarium to take home and race dino cars. A themed menu will also be available, including T-Rex Crunch Bites and Dino Dippers .
Tickets cost £18 for children and £14 for adults .
The Easter Bunny Breakfast returns on Friday 3rd April and Monday 6th April. Families can enjoy a cooked, vegan or pancake breakfast before children meet the Easter Bunny and take part in games and an Easter craft session .
Children’s tickets cost £18 and include breakfast and activities. Adult tickets cost £11.75 and include breakfast .
