A 48-year-old man has been arrested and charged after cannabis worth around £120,000 was recovered in Kinpurnie Road, Paisley.

Police carried out a series of intelligence-led warrants across Renfrewshire on Thursday, 16th April 2026.

The man is due to appear at court at a later date.

A 35-year-old woman was also arrested in connection with a number of outstanding warrants. She is expected to appear at court on Friday, 17th April 2026.

Inspector Ross Wilson said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and we will never relent in our efforts to protect the public from this harmful criminality by disrupting the drugs trade.

“Information from the public is vital and we ask anyone with information or concerns about drugs to contact us.

“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
