Seven additional MSPs have been elected for the West Scotland region following the declaration of the regional list vote at Braehead Arena.

Scottish Labour secured two regional MSPs with Neil Bibby and Katy Clark elected, while Reform UK also gained two seats through Malcolm Offord and David Smith.

The Scottish Greens elected Ross Greer and Cara McKee, while the Conservatives secured one regional MSP through Russell Findlay.

The regional list system is designed to make the Scottish Parliament result more proportional by allocating additional MSPs based on each party’s share of the regional vote and the number of constituency seats already won.

The West Scotland region includes Paisley, Renfrewshire North and Cardonald, Renfrewshire West and Levern Valley, Inverclyde, Eastwood, Dumbarton and several other constituencies.

The declaration brought the election count at Braehead Arena to a close following Friday’s Scottish Parliament election count.

The following MSPs have been elected for the West Scotland region:

  • Neil Bibby (Scottish Labour)
  • Katy Clark (Scottish Labour)
  • Malcolm Offord (Reform UK)
  • David Smith (Reform UK)
  • Ross Greer (Scottish Greens)
