Paisley’s Brick Buddies Trail

This summer, we are bringing the Iconic Bricks Brick Buddies Trail to Paisley town centre – don’t miss this fun and FREE family day out.
A magical jeep carrying a group of very special animals — the Brick Buddies — was travelling through town when it hit a bump and… CRASH!
The animals leapt, bounced, and tumbled out, scattering all across Paisley!
Now they’re hiding in shop windows — waiting to be found.
Can you become an official Brick Buddie Ranger?
Find all the Brick Buddies and help guide them back to the safari jeep before the end of summer!
Our Brick Buddies trail runs throughout Paisley town centre from Saturday 27th June until Sunday 16th August – so there’s plenty of time to join the adventure.
So join us for this summer’s brick safari adventure!
Don’t forget to snap your safari selfies and share your adventure using #PaisleySafariAdventure.
Once the trail is underway, just pick up a trail leaflet and your free activity sheet from our leaflet racks in the Piazza Shopping Centre or the Lagoon Leisure Centre. Then set off on your very own brick safari!
Then once you have completed the trail, just post your entry forms into the Paisley’s Brick Buddies post-box in the Piazza Shopping Centre to enter our prize draw with two children’s summer hampers up for grabs.
We can’t guarantee sunshine, but we can promise a great day out for all the family.

Renfrew YMCA Summer of Fun 2026 will expand its existing midweek provision with a 5 days a week programme.
The programme includes:
a parent and toddler group
a new climate action themed teen space
an ASN club
2 youth groups (for ages 5 to 12, and age 12 and older).
The programme takes place from 29 June to 10 August 2026 on:
Mondays - 10am to 11:30am
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays - 1pm to 3pm
Thursdays - 11am to 12:30pm.
Healthy, nutritious food will be provided. Food will be prepared with young people through simple, step-by-step cooking activities, aiming to help them develop practical life skills.

Fun in the Sun – Stronger Communities Glenburn

Stronger Communities Glenburn's Fun in the Sun programme will provide fun, inclusive, and engaging sessions for children, young people and families.
Sessions are designed to encourage participation from all ages and include:
- arts and crafts
- games
- sports
- family exercise classes
- creative workshops
- wellbeing activities
- movie days.
Sessions will take place at various times on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays between 1 July and 17 July 2026.
Some spaces need to be booked, such as the family exercise class.

Lamont Farm Project

Summer Project – Renfrewshire Effort to Empower Minorities

Renfrewshire Effort to Empower Minorities' Summer Project will support children and families by involving them in different activities.
They'll also encourage families within ethnic minority communities to enjoy the health benefits of participation in sport.
Activities will take place in Wellmeadow Street and Brodie Park, Paisley, and will include:

football
arts and crafts
drawing and painting sessions
dancing and African drumming workshop
day trips.
These will provide opportunities for people from various backgrounds to connect through building friendships and learning new skills.

An Erskine Arts Summer

Erskine Arts will run a summer programme at Erskine Sports Centre which will include:
Art and Craft for Primary School Aged Children - focussing on different creative themes with a finished piece of art to take home
Perform! Activity - dance, movement, singing and acting for primary school aged children
Intergenerational Masterclasses – one-off workshops in drums, guitar and songwriting with peer-to-peer mentoring across age groups. This will be for children and families and not include individual adults
Drop-In Activity – an evening/afternoon for young people of high school age to socialise and create music, play board games and relax with friends
The Friday “Big Catch Up” – open access session for families with creative stations, early years music, signposting to services. This will be followed by a Family Jam Session for families to play music together or just sit and enjoy
Sunday Studio Sessions – targeted specifically at young musicians from low income backgrounds. These will provide free access to professional recording and rehearsal facilities with industry expert Bruce Wallace.
All instruments, art materials and recording equipment will be provided as well as lunch, healthy snacks and fresh fruit.
