Police are appealing for information after a fire at a property on George Street in Paisley in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the property at around 2am on Saturday, 18th July 2026. The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no one was injured.
Police Scotland said the fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Detective Constable Jade Clark said: “The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“We are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch. Please check any private CCTV that you have to see if something has been captured that could assist with our investigation.
“If you were driving in the area at the time please also check dash-cam in case you have footage that could assist officers.”
