Bellway has launched the first phase of new homes at Abercrombie Park in Paisley, part of a £150 million development which is set to provide 603 homes.

The development is off Grahamston Road on the former site of Dykebar Hospital and is being delivered by a consortium of Cala Homes, Bellway Homes and Barratt Homes.

Plans for the site have been developed over more than a decade, with consideration given to the character of the site and the needs of the local community.

Bellway will deliver the first phase, which will include 132 three and four-bedroom homes. There are also plans for a further 68 homes in a second phase.

Pauline Coates, Sales Director at Bellway Homes Ltd (Scotland West), said: “Abercrombie Park will provide a much-needed housing boost for the community, and we’re delighted to be delivering the first homes.

“Significant investment has been made in the development infrastructure, including a new access roundabout and enhanced foot and cycle pathways, that will improve local connectivity.”

The first phase will include a mix of three-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes and four-bedroom properties.

Prices will range from £314,995 for the Kinloch, a three-bedroom semi-detached home, to £464,995 for the Burgess, a four-bedroom detached property.

The sales centre for Abercrombie Park is currently based at Bellway’s nearby Ferry Village development in Braehead.

It is open from 10am until 7pm on Thursdays, 10am until 5pm on Fridays and Mondays, and 11am until 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
